"In my classes, I emphasize that pregnancy and childbirth are normal life experiences. A thorough explanation of labor is discussed including the physiological processes and what one can expect physically and emotionally in order to take an active role in giving birth. Participants are prepared with an understanding and use of breathing techniques, relaxation, visualization, massage pushing techniques and positions which enhance their progress in labor. Every choice at The Chapman Family Center is made with experience, love and commitment to the quality of care we provide. Founder Judy Chapman is a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife. Judy is a widely known and respected Birth Educator with more than 30 years experience in the field of labor/delivery and 46 years teaching parenting classes.
The Chapman Family Center no longer offers birth and postpartum doula services. Judy Chapman has decided to retire this part of her business. Jenna and Stephanie, the long-time administrators of these two registries, have created Bundle of Joy Doula Services with all the same doulas to serve your needs.
